Each year I go to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and marvel at what these horticultural experts can achieve and wonder about my lack of gardening skills. But I keep on returning as it’s a treat to see the show gardens and try to gain some inspiration.

Here’s what it’s like trying to see the show gardens on Press Day at RHS Chelsea Flower Show as it’s also the day the BBC has to do lots of filming.

Press Day is ‘celeb central’ as they are truly everywhere. Here’s Rowan Atkinson and Nigel Havers reading poetry next to a chap who played the bugle to announce them.
Having been to the seaside the day before, and seen plenty of shell necklaces and shell covered boxes, I was a bit surprised to see these shell dinosaurs.
I really like this photo of these visitors discussing the contained garden in front of them.
Inside this ‘Artist Retreat’ is Bojo – a crocheted gorilla named after Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London.
Every barbecue needs a shelf for Champagne and glasses, doesn’t it?
